Latest update: February 27, 2006

2/27/06: OK, I broke down... Since my kids both have one, I also have a myspace now...

1/27/06: As you can (I hope) see at the top of this page, just playing with animated gif's..

3/12/04: Just in time for my b-day :). The parts came in and were added to my new car. Here is a picture of how it looks today. The next step is to have the windows tinted. Planning to take it to the hot Arizona phoenix area, limiting the sun getting into the car is a must! OK, you got me, it looks cool too....;). so-far it's been nothing but an enjoyable experience. at first I was a little worried about the milage showing an average of 16 (rating = 20/28). That, along with premium gas could become costly. As soon as we took it for a trip on I80 to visit Talia near Auburn though, it went up as high as 31!. At the end of the second tank, it is looking like I'll average about 23, which is what they predict for the car. So they key thing to remember is.... while it may be extremely fun to thoroughly enjoy the dolby 5.1 audio dvd's, don't keep the car running idle as city driving and 'just sitting there' sucks gas.... we're planning to celebrate my b-day this Sunday and I am very much looking forward to having everyone there :).

1/26/04: My potential new car... (on order and expected mid - February at this time.. I populated the picture quickly today so it's easy to share. Just sold our 2000 Camry last Friday 3K above what the dealer would give for it as trade-in! (Pays for all the extra toys I'm getting in the new Acura on order :). Unfortunately still not much time to update this web-site... Since I can't guarantee anything and life is still busy, I will decline to comment on when I may update anything on this web-site and my homepage.... Meanwhile... hope you all had a great beginning of 2004! Sure looks  like the economic conditions in general are getting better...... :). One of these days I'll take my party hat (above) off and put a real picture on this site.... Need to get a haircut first.... ;).

12/18/02: Ashamed of the previous statement (below) and when I am updating this page..... I'm not even going to attempt to estimate when I will update my site this time!!!. At least you know that we're still alive and kicking.... ;). You know how the story goes... ho ho ho, off to work I go.... (way too much that is) and so is Debbie in her new job she started Dec 1, 2002. I am looking forward to a little break this x-mas, though the honey-do's are stacking up, including moving to a new dsl provider.... Meanwhile, my buddy Joe stopped by and played some music on our new Clavinova, which I recorded. You can listen to it by clicking this MIDI file.

WOW this information is REALLY dated (March 17,1999).... I will attempt to update in the coming weeks...

Latest: My creation from the ocean. (Best when saved locally and then run in your own media player)  Hi, I am Marco. I also am looking into some fun Electronics for home survailance, etc... There are too many things in life I like to do, so I always run out of time. Some of my hobbies are: My job, Landscaping, Rollerblading, Ice Skating, Biking, Dancing (Debbie and I recently - February 99 - had a lot of fun with our swing dancing class!), Movies (The big screen Santa gave us last December, combined with the surround system we had built into the house make it harder to go out to the movies nowadays :), Camping, Hiking, travel (we need to do more of these things....) and much more.... Something else I like to do is 'play' with my computer (Really 99% work and 1% play, I hope to change that balance in the future...). According to Debbie too much though, so she distracts me now and then :). I am working more and more from home lately. The home office provides virtually the same capabilities as work and because it's isolated and quiet actually makes focus on (web) programming much easier. If you wonder about how the changes going on at hp will affect me, it is really too soon to say, though we (our family) are not planning to move and expect to be able to work something out one way or another. It is just not clear which one of the 2 new companies I will work for and if it will be remote (E.g. Mostly at home) or local (E.g. combination of telecommuting and local office). As stated in the main page, I keep this web-site up to date to keep family members informed on what is going on here in sunny (we hope soon again :) California. Much of the homepages have pictures on them that have been captured on my PC via a video capture board, which is why the quality is not quite as one might expect. Technology is there to do a much better job these days, but we have been holding of new purchases to a minimum until we are settled in our new home and have the landscaping done. Since we are expecting a decent refund rather than having to pay taxes, I will be looking to upgrade our personal hardware shortly after the tax refund arrives :).
