Our latest home endeavor... We are very excited about our new, to be retirement, home. While these are not very good times for the housing market, and we miss not being able to go to Arizona as much anymore, these challenging economic times have provided us with the fortunate opportunity to purchase a new home that we plan to retire in, in a location that allows us to remain relatively close to our immediate family and friends (E.g. most are within 2hours drive from Lincoln, versus Arizona, which is about 12 hours away). In the past years this option was simply out of our reach, so indeed an exciting development for us. 

Aside from some interesting interactions with the lenders, who clearly are on edge with the whole economic state right now, the purchase experience of our new home has been a very pleasant one. If you are interested to purchase in the Roseville area, we would highly recommend contacting Tiffany at Centex homes. Tiffany is very personable and the greatest home sales person we have ever worked with.

We purchased this home with the intent to use it as a stepping stone to retire in Arizona, but the loooooooooooooooooooooong drive and distance away from the kids, immediate family and friends made us decide against moving forward with this plan. We do miss Arizona very much.
