Announcement from Christina Smoorenburg

I would like to make an announcement. Frans and Wies Smoorenburg or Frank and Louise (depends on who is reading it) will be having their 50th wedding anniversary party on November 27, 2004 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Morgan City, Louisiana. If any Smoorenburg is interested in coming to celebrate with us contact me at cls2371@louisiana.edu I want to make sure you get a formal invitation (I hope to have them going out in about a week). If there are Smoorenburgs that can not come but would like to send their wishes to my Oma and Opa, cards are definitely nice, but we are hoping to get video tapes of well wishes, memories and really any communication from family that can not make the party to put together on a tape for them to watch after the party. Our end of the family is very excited about celebrating such a great accomplishment of making a life of fifty years together and we hope that many of you can join us in honoring my grandparents!
